In a world where homeownership feels out of reach for many, Tomond Jack, Michael (MO) Oden, and Akeen Felder, three experienced real estate brokers and investors, saw firsthand the challenges of housing affordability. They recognized the transformative power of homeownership, understanding that it’s not just a roof over one’s head, but a foundation for dreams and a gateway to wealth-building. Driven by this vision, they founded Affordify Housing Fund to create stable, affordable housing that benefits both homeowners and investors alike.

With over 50 years of combined experience, Affordify specializes in affordable housing development, combining strategic land acquisitions with innovative  financing models. We design projects that not only maximize value and social impact for the communities we serve, but also deliver profitable opportunities for investors. Akeen Felder’s

I’m Akeen Felder, President of Akeen Felder Real Estate and Associate Broker at Dream Home Today. Since beginning my real estate career in 2016, I’ve been involved in over 100 transactions, encompassing short sales, foreclosure prevention, and the management of both residential and commercial investment properties. I also have extensive experience assisting first-time homebuyers and dealing with luxury properties. Prior to entering the real estate industry, I served as a General Manager in the restaurant sector, leading a team of over 50 employees and achieving annual revenues exceeding $1 million. I’m a proud alumnus of Georgia State University and currently reside in Southwest Atlanta with my lovely daughter, Artist.

Tomond Jack

Tomond is a real estate broker and developer with over 20 years of investment experience. His real estate background includes investing in self-storage, residential assets and leading acquisitions in the single-family rental (SFR) space for private equity firms. Tomond has led investment acquisitions of over 5,000 single family assets worth over $600M for clients. He also served as President of a property management company that managed over 3,000 single family assets. Personally, he has bought and sold over 150 properties and currently owns a 16-unit single-family investment portfolio and is a GP for 350 self-storage units. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and an MBA with a real estate concentration from Georgia State University. He has 10+ years of experience working for several large publicly traded corporations in various Accounting and Finance management roles. Tomond is an El Paso, TX native and currently resides in Atlanta, GA with his wife Shane.

Michael Oden

Michael Oden, affectionately known as M.O., is the founder and managing broker at Dream Home Today. And co-founder of Affordify Housing Fund, LLC. His mission is to educate, equip and empower the real estate dreams of others. Since 2002, Michael and his “dream team” have successfully guided private individuals, private equity groups, for-profit and non-profit developers through the complexities of over 400 real estate transactions. Most notable is Michael’s ability to build mutually beneficial relationships and execute win-win negotiations. Michael’s passion “MHAA” – Making Housing Affordable Again – has his team focused on helping developers in the Southeast region of the U.S. address the shortage of affordable housing for low-to-moderate income citizens.

Michael’s previous entrepreneurial experiences include founding Eminent Properties, LLC, an investment firm specializing in residential and commercial real estate in Cobb County, GA, owning and operating five ATC Income Tax locations serving the tax needs of over 1,100 Metro Atlanta residents, and operating a CleanNet USA franchise, one of the nation’s largest commercial cleaning companies. Also, Michael has worked for several Fortune 500 Companies including Kimberly Clark, Ford Motor, John Deere, Intel, and Kraft Foods.
Besides his professional endeavors, Michael has a heart for service. As a dedicated member of the Atlanta Urban League Young Professionals, Michael was selected 2008 Southern Region member of the year for his Community service efforts. Also, Michael is an alumni of LEAD Atlanta, which is an eight month leadership training program conducted by Leadership Atlanta.
Michael is a native of Detroit, MI and a proud Alumni of Michigan State University. He currently resides in Marietta, GA with his wife Dr. Ayana Oden, his daughters Gabrielle and Mackenzie and their loving yorkies, Napoleon and Zeus.
